For more than ten years, I have worked as a professional freelance photojournalist and reporter for different publications. These Colorado regional publications included weekly, monthly and seasonal magazines and newspapers. My work included photographing dance, theater and music performances as well as food shots for restaurant reviews. Photo stories of rodeos, parades, county fairs, art shows, local attractions and school activities were also part of my work. My photos have also been selected for the covers of some of these publications.

 I have taken photos/slides of art for professional artists for juried shows. Weddings, family portraits and ads for businesses have been a sideline as well.
 In the past two years, I have been involved in the creation of two books. One is a recipe book of which I did the food photography. The second is an art book of paintings and drawings including short stories of a fantasy nature.  I took photos of the original artwork and wrote a short story for this anthology. Both of these books are soon to be published.

At this time, I am focusing on travel, portrait, landscape, nature and still life photography, which I sell in galleries in the form of framed photos, calendars and a greeting card line. I am also currently working on a book project of black and white portraits that I intend to self publish in the near future.
